June 8-24
Boeing Boeing, the groovy 1960’s comedy, at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre. Performances on June 8-9, June 15-16, and June 22-23 begin at 8 p.m. Shows on June 14 and June 21 begin at 7 p.m. Matinees on June 10, June 17 and June 24 begin at 2:30 p.m. The June 16 audience is invited to stay after the show and watch Riverbend fireworks from the theatre’s riverfront veranda and lawn. Drew Sterchi and the Blues Tribe at Barking Legs Theater. 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available here

June 24
Jericho Brass at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1505 North Moore Road in Chattanooga, 4 p.m. Admission is free.

July 13
Bluegrass gospel performers the Marksmen Quartet and Southern gospel performers Echoes of Mercy at Sacred Sounds Fridays, 7:30 p.m. at Ringgold's Patriot's Hall, 320 Emberson Dr. for the Share America Foundation. Randall Franks from TV's "In the Heat of the Night” will emcee. The event is a fundraiser for the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship Fund. Donations for tickets are adults, $10; children 12 and under free with adult. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

July 14

Attic Fire Extinguished At Chestnut Wood Lane

Firefighters put out an attic fire at a residence  at 803 Chestnut Wood Lane on Monday evening.
